Marybeth Conlon earned her law degree from Baylor Law School in 2004, where she participated in moot court competitions and was a recipient of the Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholarship.  Prior to attending law school, Marybeth graduated cum laude from Baylor University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with minors in Spanish and Political Science.  As an undergraduate, she was a member of Alpha Lamda Delta Honor Society and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

Shortly after taking the bar exam in 2004, Marybeth began her legal career at the Dallas firm of Travis & Thompson, P.C.  Marybeth passed the bar exam and became licensed to practice law before all state courts in Texas in November of 2004. Marybeth continued honing her legal skills, trying cases in Dallas, Tarrant, and Harris County before eventually becoming a named partner at Travis, Calhoun & Conlon, P.C.  In January of 2012, Marybeth founded The Conlon Law Firm. 

Marybeth is currently admitted to practice law before all state courts in Texas.  She is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas. 

Marybeth is a member of the Business Law, Construction Law, Labor and Employment Law, Litigation, and Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Sections of the Texas State Bar.  Marybeth is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, and serves as a Fellow of the Dallas Bar Association Foundation.

In 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020, Marybeth was selected for inclusion in Thomson Reuters’ Texas Super Lawyers–Rising Stars Edition.   In 2021, 2022, and 2023, Marybeth was selected for inclusion in Thomson Reuters’ Texas Super Lawyers.

In 2014, Marybeth was selected to serve a three-year term as a Barrister of the Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court.  Marybeth recently accepted an invitation to join the William “Mac” Taylor, Jr. American Inn of Court as a Master of the Bench.

Marybeth and her husband, Kevin, live in Dallas with their son, Luke, and their daughter, Quinn.  Marybeth has served two terms as the President of the Circle of Friends Board for New Friends New Life, and is a member of the Dallas Museum of Art League, Stewpot Alliance, Equest Women’s Auxiliary, Genesis Alliance, Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center, the Partnership / Community Partners of Dallas Women’s Auxiliary, Dallas Opera Women’s Board, and The Crystal Charity Ball. Marybeth is also an active member of the Owners Advisory Council.
